Types of Computer Network:
  • PAN (Personal Area Network) – Smallest Area Network, Connectivity Range 10 m
  • LAN (Local Area Network) – Set up in Local Area like in home, office building, Factories, college institutes through Computer devices. It can be wired or wireless.
  • MAN (Metropolitan Area Network) – MAN connectivity range larger than LAN and smaller than WAN. It can covers the whole city and interconnects combination of two more than two LAN. 
  • WAN (Wide Area Network) – It is largest area networks. It covers the countries. Telecommunication networks used in this network. Internet is the largest WAN.
